Bonding
If you would like to make minor aesthetic improvements, Direct Bonding is a great option. Bonding is a simple and effective method to close spaces, cover stains, and repair chips. This procedure can often be performed with reduced anesthetic.
Porcelain Veneers
If you are self conscious about your smile a porcelain veneer may be the answer or if you have widely spaced front teeth. A veneer could also be effective in repairing chipped teeth, discolored or malformed enamel. Veneers are custom made from porcelain and fit precisely over your existing teeth and are held in place with a light sensitive resin which adheres to the existing tooth and the prepared veneer.
Gingivectomy
A common esthetic problem is excessive gingival display or a “Gummy Smile”. This problem can be resolved by simply removing the gingiva, via a soft tissue laser, which often produces significant esthetic results.
Teeth Whitening
Your teeth will be examined to determine if you are a candidate for custom whitening at home. We take impressions of your teeth and use them to make models of your teeth. These models are used to make a personalized whitening tray that fits over your teeth. The trays are filled with the whitening gel at home then you place the trays on your teeth, keeping it in place for approximately 1 hour everyday. You will see results in about 2 to 3 weeks. Since peroxide is the main ingredient in our whitening kits it will not cause damage to the enamel or cause sensitivity and is actually very good for your gums.
Implants
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
Crowns
A crown (often called a cap) is a restoration that is placed on an individual tooth (somewhat like a thimble over your finger) to restore a decayed or damaged tooth to its normal shape and function. This procedure is often necessary when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure left to place a filling. It is also useful for protecting teeth that are cracked, broken, or that have had root canal therapy. A crown can also be used to change the shape of a tooth or to correct a bite or cosmetic problem. Crowns are made of gold, porcelain or a combination of the two, which makes them durable and strong.
Bridges
A bridge is a porcelain restoration composed of 3 or more teeth that is made to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental bridge is made up of two dental crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth in between. The dental bridge type you choose will depend on the condition of your smile, your financial goal and the cosmetic results you desire
